Fall Setter Camp Sunday Session

Open to Club athletes 14 years old and older (i.e., athletes who have played club).

This camp is intended for those athletes wanting to work on and improve on their setting skills. Athletes that sign up for this camp must have some club volleyball experience. If you have never played volleyball before and you wish to attend this camp, you must obtain permission from the Camp Director.  Camp Director, Goy Sengmany can be contacted by email at director@impactvolleyball.club.

Athletes will be divided by skill level, and to ensure that each athlete gets the required attention, each group will be limited to 8 athletes.

Depending on each group’s skill, this specialty positional camp will focus on all or some of the following elements

• Proper Hand Positioning
• Footwork and movement off the net
• Setter transition from blocking and defense
• Set types: the quick (metre ball), 31, 61, 71 and the backcourt
• Court awareness and reading opponent
• Jump setting (for those setters who are ready to move to this)
